The Leftists Surprise Proves Their Lie

Over the weekend, supporters of President Obama rationalizing why the president did indeed deserve the Nobel Prize, and why his critics on the Right are out just to attack everything positive that happens to Obama.

But to me one thing is weird: almost (if not) EVERYONE on the right, left, and center admitted being surprised when learning of the Nobel Committee’s pick. The reason for the surprise is the president’s lack of accomplishments on the peace front. So, if you Leftist Obama defender was surprised with this pick because privately to yourself you had/have NO CLUE why Obama deserves it, why are you saying the last 72 hours  that Obama did indeed deserve it for reason A, B and C?  If A, B, and C were true, you would have expected the last nine months that Obama will likely get the Nobel, and thus you would have NOT been (so) surprised on Friday morning.

The fact however that you WERE surprised proves to me that your defense of the pick is a result of YOU being the partisan who is out to defend Obama at all costs rather than the Right being off the mark with asking pointedly: why in hell did Obama get this one?

    Excellent point you bring up Mr. Gestetner! But after reviewing the information put online over the weekend about the 5 member Nobel Peace Prize committee, I have concluded that Obama is actually the perfect Nobel Peace Prize recipient. Please consider the following.

    Regardless of the intentions of Alfred Nobel and the virtues implied by his highly coveted peace prize, just like Toto pulled back the curtain on the wizard in the Wizard of Oz, I credit Obama with inadvertently helping to reveal who the Nobel Peace Prize people are. They are evidently mostly socialists who are simply acknowledging Obama as a prominent torch-bearer of the socialistic fantasies that they undoubtedly share with him.

    The bottom line is that the Nobel Peace Prize lost its luster, IMO, when it was awarded to misguided global warming alarmist Al Gore; choosing Gore reeked of political correctness. And now that it is apparent that the prize is being used for political leverage by a tiny, elitist socialist clique, I’m afraid that, for me anyway, the Nobel Peace Prize has gone the way of Santa Claus.
