The Jobs Forum

The White House is holding today a forum with 130 business, union and political figures to find ways how to create jobs.

For an administration that points to 600,000 to 1 million jobs “saved or created” in recent months, one would wonder why there is a need for a jobs summit. In addition, few unemployed people will view this forum as doing anything good for them because no jobs get created by talk and talk. Therefore one sure wonders why the administrations is holding a jobs summit in the first place.

Is it just a PR move? It appears so, but I doubt strongly that this can out-beat an ever-increasing unemployment rate.
