Do you remember the final hours of the Health Care Reform debate when Congressman Bart Stupak (MI) had a half-dozen Dems with him who blocked the Reform from passing over Abortion issues? I am sure you remember it. Right?
And do you remember Stupak and his gang flipping on the last minute? Well, Dem Congressman Allan Mollohan was one of them. Tonight, he lost a Primary after serving in the House for fourteen terms.
Just as a flashback: Stupak announced a few weeks ago that he will not run for re-election.
I see that playing a vital role in getting HCR passed is not exactly a one-way-ticket to re-election…
