In recent weeks, I made the following predictions – on twitter – regarding some of the upcoming elections. Here we go (links are to the tweets):
Friday 10/29/10: The NY-19 House race between Hayworth and Hall will be decided beyond and outside how Kiryas Joel votes. BACKGROUND: Candidates are 43-43 in a poll of earlier this week, and Hall ahead by 1 at 47.
Wednesday 10/27/10 Early After noon: “Cook sees gain of 48-60 seats 4 Republicans, Rothenberg sees 45-55. Both say 60-plus is possible. Gestetner says, or less than 39, or 75-plus.”
Wednesday 10/27/10 Late Morning: “House Prediction: or Dems will retain majority, or Republicans will SWEEP with a net of above 75 seats. It WON’T be in area of a 45-55 seat ting.”
Saturday Night 10/23/10: [in a new poll,] “45% Independents are with Gillibrand, 44% with DioGuardi. DON’T 4 a SECOND dream that NY Indies will split 50-50 between both! Joe WILL lead by them.”
Wednesday 10/20/10: “I PREDICT the #NYSEN & #NYGOV races will 1) NOT end with 20-25-35 point leads. 2) Likely be decided by single digits.” BACKGROUND: off the heels of a few polls who wrote Dems sweeping NY by 25 or more points.
