Get this, friends:
A ) The AP has a poll which is based on surveying 46% Dems; 29% Repubs, and the rest Indies.
Results? Obama’s approval ratings is at 60 percent; Bush is at 50%. THIS is why AP produced the results with 17-points more Dems in it than Repubs. Were it balanced between the two major parties, W. would be higher than O, which can’t happen because the story-line needs to be that O is flying high due to OBL…
B) In three different post-OBL polls (by Rassmusen, NBC and Gallup) Obama gets 45%, 45% and 43 when asking voters if they will vote for Obama in 2012. So the talk of Obama sailing to a second term due to OBL, is clown hagwash at this time.
C) Obama’s Team said in January 2009 the Stimulus will “create or save” 3.6 million jobs by the end of 2010. People complained that these numbers can be manipulated as to what was/is a ‘saved’ job.
Regardless the wording, Team O predicted that we will have 137.55 million jobs at the end of 2010 if we have the Stimulus, and 133.8 million jobs if we don’t have the Stimulus.
Results? Now in May 2011, the US Economy has 131 million jobs, which is 6.5 million jobs short of that 137.5 jobs we were supposed to have a half year ago.
Can Team O say “things were worse than we expected”? Em, well… The projection was made at the low point of the crisis, so what “worse” is Obama referring?
