UPDATE: Boycotting Delta Airlines for its Anti-Jewish Partnership

I am sure many of you read the news item at USA Today  that “Jews and Israelis, or passengers carrying any non-Islamic article of faith, will not be able to fly Delta Air Lines flights from the U.S. to Saudi Arabia under Delta’s new partnership with Saudi Arabian Airlines.”

The truth is few Jews have a desire to visit that terrorist-supporting nation in the first place. However, it is beyond an outrage why a U.S. firm would agree to a partnership that calls for racist discrimination against peaceful citizens of free countries around the globe. Nothing but greed by Delta can explain why they are ready to cut off Jews from being able to fly Delta to Saudi Arabia.

If – as it appears – Delta is in no need of Jewish business, then Jewish travelers nationwide and from around the globe should consider canceling already-booked flights with Delta and shall also refrain from booking any flights with that firm until this policy is off the table. The same steps should be applied to Comair, which is a subsidiary of Delta.

Corporations are always happy to hear opinions and comments from the public. It helps them improve their business. Delta’s Contact information is as follows:

Corperate HQ: 404-715-2600, or 800-221-1212.

Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/delta and also http://twitter.com/#!/deltaassist

UPDATED June 26, 2011:  Other airlines too have this policy with Saudi Arabia, and indeed, we cant boycott everone, but this stroy brought to light the sad fact that global firms do business with countries that discriminate againt minorities. This is a shame!
