Senator Lieberman, Don’t Teach us the Beauty of Shabbos

Senator Joseph Lieberman published a handbook regarding the Observance of Shabbos and its beauty.

Here is my response:

Senator Joseph Lieberman deserves credit for trying to Observe the Shabbos as best he can despite the hardships it brings to his job. But a Senator who led the repeal of DADT on Shabbos, instead of pushing off or rolling back the vote by one day in order to Observe – instead of violating Shabbos with press conferences etc. – should not be distributing handbooks explaining “The Beauty of the Sabbath.”
