Firing Attorney General Eric Holder! Yup, the National Rifle Association is running now an online ad named “Tell President Obama to Fire Attorney General Eric Holder.” The issue is the failed Fast and Furious gun-runner program, which is well explained in the NRA video and the NRA wants Holder out!
As I tweeted two days ago, a leading House Democrat, yes Democrat, claims Holder will be gone by year’s end.
Orthodox Jews in the mean time want Holder out because he is ignoring blatant injustices by federal prosecutors against former Agriprocessors boss Sholom Rubashkin. Holder is not blamed for the 2008 raid since he was not AG at the time. But the subsequent “reduced” yet still outrages request for 25 years for a first time offender, fifty year old, father of ten, white collar issue, under Holder’s watch is unexplainable.
Having someone sit behind bars at the current time due to injustices done by prosecutors before and after Holder took office, is something that some office under Holder should take a look into. Having failed to do so irks the strictly Orthodox Jewish and Hasidic communities, as outlined in the above-linked article.
