Congressman Jarrold Nadler who is a strong backer of the Occupy Wall Street, located in his district, had this to say on the recent violence in Brooklyn:
“I stand firmly behind Brooklyn’s Jewish community in expressing my anger and disgust at recent acts of anti-Semitism. These cowardly attacks show a renewed attempt by weak-minded bigots to target and scapegoat Jews. We must ensure that NYPD, Shomrim, and community eyes and ears are vigilant and responsive. And we must pursue every legal remedy in our arsenal – including the use of federal resources if necessary – to fully prosecute those who are guilty of these crimes. Together, we are much stronger than hate-filled anti-Semites.”
