Tell me if the Justice Department will prosecute the guards on Civil Rights violations…

Tell me what that old disabled LoRouche guy has done wrong to have a plump loser – who couldn’t make it through Basic Training at Police Academy – sit on him for 3-4 minutes.

In the context of this clip, AG Holder was right when he said we are a nation of cowards. Why didn’t the people there overrun these two guards? Why didn’t all people around stick up to that guy in the first place?

I wonder if the ACLU and others will try prosecuting those two guards.

I do not have a wish to live under fear of the Spanish Inquisition or in the era of Communist Soviet Union. Yet, you might however wonder on occasion what happened to the Democracy of the United States, particularly if you get caught up the wrong way with the law.

Here is the list:

• If you get arrested, you may be held for 24 hours without being charged. You are permitted to make only one phone call, i.e. once your call is over you have zero contact with the world until your attorney arrives. Then of course if you can’t afford an attorney, the government will provide you with one – yeah, the one who works to satisfy his employer, the government; not you.

• If you are busted for an alleged crime, this would include busted via the use of sting operations, which means a crime would have not occur if not for the Feds placing it under your feet, your name gets plastered negatively by Federal officials who hold highly-publicized press conferences before you are convicted. If and when your name gets cleared, no media or Federal official is there to make news out of it.

• When in criminal court, your future is in the hands of a group of unemployed individuals who are so smart that they couldn’t find a way to avoid getting involved in this thing called Jury Duty, and/or your immediate future it is in the hands of a person in a black robe that can add or subtract years of misery to your life, based largely on his/her mood.

• If the government wants to fry you, they will charge you with laws that were last enforced before the 1929 Stock Market crash. In addition; for one alleged act, they will charge you under endless types of counts such as Fraud, Mail fraud, Wire fraud, Bank Fraud, False Statements to a Bank, etc, each charge thrown at you a half a dozen times or more, which in turn might land you 1,225 years in prison. Oh! And by the way: Willfully saying a lie to a Federal Agent even if you are not under oath is a felony that can land you a few more years in prison.

• For cooking your books in order to get bank loans worth less than $50 million, you might get up to 1,225 years. However, a $50 billion Ponzi scheme gets you only 150 years.

• You can be incarcerated for three years if you violate the tax return perjury status, i.e. you purposely under-report in a tax return your income. Then again, if luck is on your side, you might become America’s Treasury Secretary who oversees the IRS, or perhaps you might be one of the top tax-writing lawmakers in the country, despite the fact that you recently cheated the tax system with tens if not hundreds of thousand dollars.

• When in prison, you are the dog of the Prison Worden and correction officers who treat you as dirty scum if they want, and dump you in “the hole” for days and weeks, disregarding the fact that it might permanently affect you psychologically, yet… there is zero-to-nothing that you can do about it.

• When you are done with serving the prison sentence, you might be ordered to live for a while in a halfway-house until you get accustomed to the free life. But of course, when your sentence was handed-out, there was a big chance that you were not permitted to return to your home for even one more time, and a half-way house to “train” you how to lose your freedoms is not even an option. Instead, you get taken straight to a prison cell.

• Finally, when you are over with all the above, you are a felon for life, regardless of how small of a crime it was. It is a stain on your record that endlessly impedes on your freedom.

I certainly don’t want to get caught up in the justice system of Mexico, China, or even France for this matter, and I am truly grateful to enjoy the freedoms that we all have in the democracy of the USA. However, after taking a glimpse into the justice system of the United States, I finally understand better the quote – by Winston Churchill: “No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise.”

Yes, I said it: The United States of America as it is today has in a lot of ways gone crazy. No, this is not an attack on President Obama or on the Democrat-controlled Washington. It is simply a review of what the USA has come to, some things under the banner of freedom and democracy.

Here is a partial list:

•	Way back we knew that Americans have equal rights. Somehow today, equality means Women First.

•	Civil Rights were transformed into Affirmative Action, and have brought endless instances of Reverse Discrimination.

•	Freedom of Speech is your right as long someone does not take you to court for libel, defamation, or go figure whatever crazy law lawmakers on all levels of governments voted into the books since 1789.

•	Way back, Americans knew they had the right of privacy. In these days, however, under the banner of Freedom, everything needs to be made public record, including any Police-reported domestic dispute or traffic arrest you once had. Go figure where your privacy disappeared.

•	Officially you have s right of self-defense. But… when using this right make sure not to go too far, because you might land up in jail as a result of a government prosecution against you, or you will likely get sued for millions as a result of assault charges brought to you by the person who intruded your property and privacy.

•	It is illegal to write today a check, dated for today, if there is not enough money in the bank to cover it. Yet, in 2009, US banks will earn a total of $40 billion-plus in over-draft fees, including banks that charge you $35 for over-drafting despite that they don’t cover your check.

•	Under the name of a “right to choose,” discovered by the courts only close to 200 hundred years after the Bill of Rights was written, doctors may do a procedure on a fetus that others get charged with murder if they do the same. Yes America: Decide if destroying a fetus is a matter of choice, or a matter of murder.

•	If you are a Navy SEAL who arrested a terrorist that killed, mutilated, and hung on a bridge American contractors in Iraq, you might stand trial on assault charges for punching this madman in his face. Worse, your own Department of Defense will lead the charges against you. Not enough? If you didn’t commit this act, yet you didn’t report your colleague either (same goes if you don’t want to give up information to the government about a criminal family member), you can be charged with “aiding and abetting” a criminal.

I am certain that more things might come to mind regarding where America has gone crazy, a craziness which is mostly rooted in political correctness, and/or pure stupidity.

During the Bush years, we heard often from the Left that Bush divided the country. To me this statement didn’t make sense, because for example in 1996, President Clinton got barely half of the popular vote during his reelection campaign, while the other half voted against him. What is that if not a divided country?

Besides, if “the system” is that it is the president, and not his critics that divide the country, we should assume that President Obama is at fault for dividing the country following his unifying win of last year November. Don’t you agree?

You see, when Obama came onto the 2008 stage, a lot of people were excited for Him, including people on the right, and count me as one of them. Obama appeared as a fresh person with an open mind to political issues who is willing to work across party lines through giving up some of his own to the other side. I even donated $36 to the campaign (due to a computer mistake, the charge was 2X$36) and signed up to get e-mails from Him, but then, then His true colors came out (his radical associations, spreading the wealth mentality), and Obama lost me and millions others thus dividing the nation again along ideological lines.

Once coming into office, Obama got back the good will of a majority of voters, as reflected in opinion polls earlier this year. But then he took over huge firms (Bush bailed them out, but Obama took them over); dictating executive pay; increasing federal spending well-above the already-crazy Bush spending; apologizing for America worldwide; going soft on the Red Russians; and the list has barely started. With all this, it is no wonder that the Obama’s approval rating is down to the low-mid fifties, which means the country is divided again.

If Obama will continue down this route, He will indeed unite this nation – unite it against him.

In light of the UN General Assembly where President Obama and others pointed out the excessive use of American energy, let me put a few numbers in perspective.

1) The left claims that despite the U.S. having only 5% of the world population, the States use 25% of the world energy, which is – according to the left – very wrong. However I look at it differently: a third of the world economy is (generated) in the USA, yet only a quarter of the world energy supplies get burned here, which means the U.S. actually uses LESS energy than its percentage of the world economy.

2) Despite having only 5% of the world population, the USA has – as said before – a third of the world’s economy. This proves once again that capitalism is the best system for economic prosperity.

3) If the left, here or abroad, like to use “the 5% of the population” as the gage, they should conclude that the U.S. is the greatest nation on earth, because despite having only 5% of the population, the US government is the largest contributor to most humanitarian missions worldwide, including funding the UN, and people in the States donate privately more than doe people in any other nation.
