Between Others, the State of Arizona wanted to make it illegal, on a State level, for illegal immigrants to solicit for work (which is mostly cash buiss).
A Federal Judge appointed by Prez. Clinton, ruled that NO! The State can NOT ban it! In other words, the judge believes that America needs to be a Lawless Nation where you can work here illegal – a ruling that Obama and the Dems cheered.
But dare I not pay my employment tax…
Some point out that it is “no surprise” that 70% Hispanics in a new WSJ poll are against the Arizona Immigration Laws. To some, the “no surprise” is that the Law will likely effect mostly Hispanics, and therefore they oppose it.
But, no. The No Surprise of the Poll results is due to the fact Hispanics vote for the Dems BIG time even when the pro-leftist-reform McCain was runing.
Here’s how the Hispanic vote went recently:
67% Voted for Obama in 2008 (only 32% voted for McCain).
69% Voted for the Democrats in 2006 congressional elections.
55% Voted for Kerry in 2004
65% Voted for Gore in 2000
So… the 70% opposition is just a matter of Party Line.
Note: is it not racist to take a poll based on racial lines regarding a “racist” law? Am just asking…
If Arizona is a Nazi State for asking immigrants to have paperwork with them in case they get pulled-over for a violation of a State/local law, then the US is the Reichstaug itself.
Here is why: According to the US Citizen and Immigration Services, If you are a permanent resident age 18 or older, you are required to have a valid green card in your possession at all times.
In Arizona, people need to have “papers” only if they get stopped for a violation of another thing, but according to Federal Law, Immigrants must have it if they just walk down the street, or as Obama puts in: When the family goes to the Ice Cream Store…
You ever wondered how it is possible that every political issue has strong supports on both sides while FACTS support only one side?
The answer is, that one side of the arena spins and ignores existent facts, or produce new ones on their own, in order to advance their agenda or talking-point. Example: The new Arizona Immigration Laws. The way the left reports it, officers are permitted to ask anyone for American papers, if that person fits the subscription of an illegal, just as Nazis asked Jews for their papers, from one minute to the next for no good reason.
Outrages, Right? Well there is one problem: the law permits to ask for American papers only if the officer came in legal contact with that illegal, such as a routine traffic stop. But of course, media people hope that Americans and others will stay ignorant of this FACTS in the bill, an as a result more people will be against it and belive that Republicans are the Nazis of the current age.
One may say that asking for American papers at a routine traffic stop is harsh, but it is nothing new. In NY State you need to produce a Driver’s License when a cop pulls you over, and last I checked, you can get a NY License ONLY if you are a Green Card holder or have a Social Security Number. So, if Arizona is a Nazi State for their law regarding illegals who will now need to produce paperwork if they get pulled-over for a violation beyond immigration, then NY is a Nazi-State against LEGAL citizens!
Besides all this, the Arizona law points endlessly that the law needs to be enforced within CURRENT Federal Immigration Laws. Again, if Arizona is a Nazi-State for its new law, the Left should stamp the US as a Nazi country.
Furthermore, few know that AZ law officers may NOT deport illegals; the officers need to hand-them over to Federal agents. Now if – according to the way the Media made you believe that – illegals violate only AZ law, what exactly should the Feds do when illegals are handed over to them? Deport them? No, can’t be because the illegal only violated Arizona law. Right? No, not Right! They are in violation of Federal Law, and AZ only took some of the Authority to enforce it.
All in all, the Left needs you to be ignorant of the facts and stupid regarding common sense what the law is or is not. This way they can propel their anti-Republican agenda for political and partisan gains.
