Palin, Please Stop!

I am a big fan of Sarah Palin. It’s amazing how a person who has a professional career is still a full scale parent. I like the idea that she stands up for what she believes. I appreciate the fact that she gave up her Governor seat to be more involved in the process and involved on her own terms. (Palin redefined the word “Quitting.” Does it look to you that she “quit” politics?) For all of these things she deserves great credit for doing and achieving.

However, in recent months, Palin created a pattern of rushing into the headlines in a way of, “Hey. Look at me. I am also here.” She upstaged Republican candidates and events more than one time; last of them the Ames Fair on the day of the Poll. She couldn’t have come mid-week? These moves are with the apparent goal of getting into the spot light when it appears to shine on others.

More and more Palin comes across as self-centered and petty on the expense of others. She needs to scale it back. She wants to be involved in the process? She wants to be a king maker? Great! She took a lot of bullets for Conservatives and Republicans and is still standing. Therefore she indeed deserves a say at the table. However, she should try doing all that without being in the center every time something big takes place on the Republican front.

Palin Does Not Need the Press, Dummy!

Dana Milbank (it’s a He, not a she) asks journalists to join in his pledge to not report of or mention at all Sarah Palin during the month of Feb.

This dummy fails to note that Palin aint an Obama who was built up by the press/media, and therefore wont be able to survive without their help. To the contrary: the Media/Press did all they can to destroy Palin, yet she is still standing, but for some reason Milbank is in this illusion that Media/Press can some how doom her popularity by not covering her.

What a living-in-a-bubble fool-head this guy is.

Blood Libel? Dance Monkey, Dance!

Someone posted a commant on a Politico story regarding the ‘storm’ surounding Palin’s use of the word Blood Libel. That person has a good point, as follows:

My god, she’s really just leading them by the nose.

Does anyone think this statement wasn’t vetted and edited over and over? The use of the term “blood libel” was deliberate. It is used semi-frequently in a non-anti-semitic context, but it’s close enough to the line that Palin and her advisors must have done this intentionally. Why? Look at the reaction! The Left is going to flail itself into even more absurdity parsing her statement and declaring her ignorant. They just handed her a huge PR victory by prematurely jumping to blame her, and now she’s laughing the back room, shouting “Dance, monkey, dance!”

Palin Is Right: It IS A Blood Libel!

Palin released this morning a video saying that “journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible.” Her use of the term Blood Libel is creating a fire storm of its own.

Well, the same immaturity that drove people to claim that her use of the Crosshairs Map – popular on both side of the aisle – could actually drive people to shoot down members of Congress within these districts, is the same stupidity that brings some to attack her for the use of the words Blood Libel: It’s a figurative term; not a literal sense, dummies! But even if she indeed meant it literally, she is right on! People – based on hate to Palin and without proof – did use the term that “Palin has blood on her hands,” and did fault her on the shooting. This, my friends, is indeed a Blood Libel: Without evidence, blaming a person you hate for spilling innocent blood; exactly what her opponents are doing since Saturday afternoon. The only difference between now and the Libels of the past is that the one accused now is not physically lynched in a Pogrom. However, in a political sense, Palin was indeed lynched by the Leftist mob in recent days, driven by the false accusations of their leaders and puppy-heads in the media.

If anyone needs to be praised in all this, it is indeed Palin. While commentators on all three sides (including myself) could not wait to use their Twitter Accounts, Facebook Pages, TV sets and microphones to assign blame or to counter attack, Palin had the maturity to sit tight for a few days and not say or write things that she would regret, or in fact say anything without knowing facts in advance. But of course, the power of Palin and the hate to her is so strong, that any two words she says has the potential of putting her under attack anew by those who yearn to have her power and influence, which again explains why she kept quiet in the first place.

Palin’s opponents, including in the Republican Party, have a mission: destruct and destroy Palin. With this in mind, anything she says can and will be used against her in the court of public opinion, regardless what the norm is, such as… using a target map, you know similar to the one used in recent years by the DLC and the DCCC. However, to Palin’s great benefit, we live now in 2011 where the Internet, Talk Radio and Social Networking have the power to push back against her attackers who made a Libel against her.

Palin is NO Match to Biden

Recently, members of the media were all over the fact that former Alaska Gov. Palin wrote a few words on her hands to use it during a QnA. Granted, it looked a little off, but as some have pointed out: President Obama doesn’t look much smarter by using Telepromters at EVERY event.

To me, it is Palin vs. Biden, not Palin vs. Obama, considering that ran for VP, not President, in 2008. Therefore, let’s not place her side-by-side to Obama. Instead, let’s put her up against Biden.

This leads me to ask this: is Joe Biden anything less than a joke or better than a fool? No, I won’t quote all of Biden’s foot-in-mouth instances because from when I’ll write it until I’ll post this article online, Biden will likely make another three goofs, so my examples will be out dated.

My point here is that Joe Biden vs. Gov. Palin is NO match. Not because Palin ain’t as qualified as Biden. To the contrary: Biden is too much of a fool to match up against Palin.
